Professor Mark Harris: How might a clinician scientist be best placed to reshape primary care? (2019)

Professor Mark Harris shares his personal experiences as a clinician-researcher throughout his life and the journey he has gone on. Professor Harris also shares some lessons he has learnt about being a clinician-scientist. Professor Harris has a focus on the prevention and management chronic diseases especially diabetes cardiovascular disease, in primary care. He also conducts health inequalities research, including interventions to improve the health status of disadvantaged groups including the unemployed, refugees (asylum seekers) and Aboriginal people.
