AAHMS Fellow elected to Academy of Social Sciences in Australia

AAHMS Fellow Professor Henry Brodaty AO has been elected as a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences in Australia (ASSA).

ASSA promotes excellence in the social sciences in Australia and in their contribution to public policy. Fellows are elected by their peers in recognition of their demonstrated and outstanding contribution to one or more fields of social science research or practice in Australia.

Professor Brodaty is Scientia Professor and Director, Dementia Collaborative Research Centre; Co-Director, Centre for Healthy Brain Ageing (CHeBA) at UNSW Sydney. He is a leading international researcher in psychogeriatrics, neurodegenerative diseases and dementia care policy and practice.

He is one of 34 Fellows elected to ASSA in 2022 from across Australia. We offer our warmest congratulations to Professor Brodaty on this impressive achievement.
