The Inclusive Leadership Mentoring Program, delivered in partnership with Serendis Leadership, is a six-month cross-organisational program that combines informal one-on-one mentoring sessions with expertly facilitated workshops and events covering career development, mentoring skills and inclusive leadership frameworks. Through the program, mentees gain confidence and clarity around their career progression, while mentors develop practical tools to shape a more inclusive culture within their teams, organisations and the wider sector. It is currently available in New South Wales.
The program was originally developed and delivered by Franklin Women. Following Franklin Women’s closure at the end of 2025, the Academy has partnered with Serendis Leadership to continue this important work, ensuring the health and medical research community continues to benefit from this high-impact initiative. Delivering this program is part of the Academy’s commitment to delivering on the conclusions and recommendations of the Decadal Plan for Women in the Health and Medical Sciences that we published in 2025.
