Professor Greenwood is Director of the Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute. A highly respected, international expert in the field of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (CMR) and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), he has published over 400 peer-reviewed publications and authored the current CMR clinical practice guidelines used globally. Professor Greenwood yields a major influence in cardiology, serving as president for both the British Cardiovascular Society and British Society for CMR. He is passionate about supporting the next generation of cardiologists, having mentored generations of cardiology trainees/fellows, who have launched their own successful careers. He was recently awarded the SCMR international Gold Medal.
