David Ziegler – UNSW Conjoint Professor, Director of the Kids Cancer Alliance, and Head of both the Neuro-Oncology Program & Clinical Trials Unit at Sydney Children’s Hospital – is a paediatric oncologist with clinical expertise in neurooncology, early-phase clinical trials and precision medicine. His work has led to discoveries that have been implemented in national and international trials for children with the highest risk cancers. In addition to leading the largest paediatric neurooncology laboratory program in the country, he’s established the first Australian early phase paediatric clinical trials program specifically designed to translate novel therapeutics to the clinic for children with cancer.
