This webinar focuses on what actually counts early in your career and when applying for grants: choosing the right scheme, scoping a project you can realistically deliver, explaining clearly why your work matters, and building a budget that holds together.

Our keynote speaker Professor Carol Hodgson FAHMS, is an internationally recognised clinician-scientist and research leader with an outstanding track record of securing competitive research funding and leading high-impact, multicentre clinical research programs. Drawing on her experience as a current NHMRC Investigator Grant holder and member of the NHMRC Research Committee, she will share practical insights into developing strong grant applications and turning great ideas into funded research.
