Professor Emma Duncan is a clinician-scientist with an international reputation for research and leadership. Her exceptional publication record (recent papers in Nature, Nature Genetics and the New England Journal of Medicine) is remarkable, particularly given her substantial clinical commitment, and encompasses basic science, translational and clinical research. Her genetics research ranges from population studies to monogenic diseases, employing cutting edge technologies with translation of these technologies into clinical practice. She is demonstrably an international thought-leader, for research and clinical issues; and contributes to leadership and governance nationally and internationally.
